I've lost my twist plugin and have spent hours looking for it on the web. Anyone know where to find it ? I know it was in the /filters/distorts menu but I can't recall where I got it from originally.... Thanks.

Thanks anyway. I think this plugin has been purged from the net for some reason.. I'll check to see if I saved it to disk in the last couple of years. Nice try though. P.S. I know how to search at google....

But I can not download the plugin as it is not there. Try to actually download the plugin and either you'll see that it's not available or else let me know what I'm doing wrong or just not getting. Thanks.

Wrong !!! That was version 1 which doesn't run on 2.6.3. Good news is I found it (twist-2.0) as well as some other useful plugins here: http://schumaml.gmxhome.de/downloads/gimp/sources/ Persistence paid off finally. I download the whole page and I'll burn all my plugins, scripts and extras to a CD for long term viability.. I installed and tested it so I know twist is good. Suggest anyone interested also download this very usefull plugin.... P.S. I wonder why this is not in the gimp registry ?

Mark, I was going to bookmark that page for future use. Now I see it has a major flaw. It's not sufficiently obvious.

But I can not download the plugin as it is not there. Try to actually download the plugin and either you'll see that it's not available or else let me know what I'm doing wrong or just not getting. Thanks.

But I don't understand why you didn't find these second-level pages from the ones Google did point to. >let me know what I'm doing wrong or just not getting. Google is not the end-all. You still have to think and click. My total search time was maybe 5 minutes. You must practice and improve your Google-Fu.

Well I started thinking and then I realized that the plugin is on my Graphics Muse CD, which I've had for at least 6-7 years... Thanks anyway....

After going to that page, it took me about 10 seconds to find it. Here's a hint in case you still don't see it: Think 'up the URL path' ... > > Nice try though. > > P.S.
