Move all the gifs to a directory (mygifsdirectory for example) then
run


# tar -cvf mygifs.tar mygifsdirectory/

     If you're trying to make an animated GIF, try GIFSICLE.  If
you're trying to make one large picture (e.g. a panorama) from them,
try AUTOSTITCH.  If you're trying to do something else, you might
want to explain in more detail.  Both programs are easy to find via
Google.
