Thanks. Will give this a try. I kept running into the problem that paths are different than described but even re-creating it as per paths shown in various posts didn't help. This is really stupid of GIMP. I'm the persevering sort but came close to just washing my hands of this app. As it stands, it's pretty good but I much prefer PSP. But if I can get the help files working, I can give this a good try. It's learning the new terminology and where everything is which is why the help files are so important. Thanks.
