Hello, I would like to process images for an advertisement in a newspaper. The problem is that images do not look very goot without correction - I found out that this is a gamut-problem. Is it possiple to use gimp for an automatic correction of images or does anybody know a program that makes this correction for all images of a folder? Greetings from Austria Elisabeth

Contact them and ask. Then import this colormap if possible. In Gimp you can either produce a new image using this as a default or import/open an existing image and convert it to indexed using this color map. Use the Gimp help browser to learn more about colors and color maps

The ImageMagick toolbox may be more appropriate if you want to mass-process your files. -- Bertrand
