If I want to make an image to use on a bill board, where should I look for information. Is there a tutoral, net group? What resolution should I use to Keep it from looking pixelated? Has anyone here dome a project such as this with gimp? Thanks Dave

Otherwise your image will be extremely large !! Too large to fit in memory... After creating your image in Inkscape save it as a postscript file. Then, if you are using Linux you can use the 'poster' program to print out equal sized smaller sections which can be aligned easily to create your 'billboard... Not sure what program there is to print something as large as a billboard in Windows though... P.S. I once made a large (~6'x8') sign using this methodand it worked well. I don't see any reason this wouldn't work for a billboard size image.. Several people asked me how I printed such a high quality sign so it must have been pretty good..........
